I was worried this would make me hot but it doesn't. I can't tell the difference between regular bedding and this when talking about the temperature. As someone else said, it works great when my ass is on it. :) Don't worry about it not holding the amount of fluid you can put out because I promise if it doesn't leak with me, it isn't going to leak.
Having the added protection made it easier to relax and enjoy. The bedding was well protected and this pad was much more comfortable than a towel for sure! We thought it would have been more plush feeling but it was definitely better than anything we've tried before. The one down would be the cost-we'd like to have 2 but will have to wait on the second purchase.
